Specific Recordings was born in 2011 out of the desire to commit fine and uncompromising music of all kinds on vinyl only.
At first focusing on releasing more locally-brewed artists (mainly from Metz), the three headed label soon started on working with foreign bands, especially Japanese ones after falling in love with Tokyo and its everblooming music scene.
Specific Recordings may have small means of action but we share a love for our artists, their vision and their music that goes way beyond the money factor.
